We knew that coming home would be cold, but 30+ degrees to this!

Met Mr Narayanan for lunch and spent the afternoon at Jurong bird park before an early evening stroll by the river. A short but eventful trip to Singapore!

Spent a couple of nights in the peaceful rainforest. Back in Cairns now.

A couple of busy days, but without many photo opportunities. Yesterday had a terrific time white water rafting on the Tully river - mainly inside the raft. Today, took this big boat to the barrier reef. Had a swim and a trip in a little submarine.

Went sand tobboganing this morning. Step 1 get a small sheet of hardboard and wax the smooth side. Step 2 climb to the top of a sand dune. Step 3 lie on the board and off you go! Highly recommended.

Fabulous day yesterday. Got a boat to the island. Saw the new Airbus A380 land from the sea. Arrived at this beautiful island. Hand fed wild dolphins as the sun set.

Went to Australia zoo yesterday.

Met some wild kangaroo on the way up to the blue mountains. Stayed in the most luxurious hotel and enjoyed the scenery.

Took a VERY steep train down the mountain this morning. Stopped off at a wildlife park this avo and saw some native animals including koalas. Off to Brisbane tonight.

Stopped off at the olympic park on the way out of Sydney. Reminded me of Athens- excellent facilities, pleasant people, superb sunshine. I wonder how London will fare in 2012.

Spent some time in the chinese garden of friendship today. Great place to unwind.
